My 18th Birthday

As you may have known from my social medias, I recently turned the BIG 18. The past few days have definitely been the most amazing and crazy whirlwind of celebrations and parties filled with heeeaaps of food, friends and family.

On my actual birthday I spent the day relaxing and spending time with each other. Something about it being so simple just made even more enjoyable.

Then came the planning, organising, shopping and preparing for the party. It was heeeectic! There was a lot of cleaning, preparing, cooking, decorating and honestly just a whole lot of stress. But on the day of the party I have to say that it was really, reeeaallly worth all the time and stress that was put into the party. Just simply hanging out was delightful. Along with food, a water fight and the Australian Open it really made for such a fun filled and entertaining party.

The highlight for me though was the AMAZING surprise gift that my mum had organised it for me. I just want to take the opportunity to thank everyone who has provided me with so much love and support. Thank you to everyone who wrote such lovely messages. Gotta admit, I did get a little teary eyed! I will forever cherish these notes and reflect on them during the good and the bad times.
